Krishna reveals the power of devotion. 'Bhaktyā mām abhijānāti yāvān yaś cāsmi tattvataḥ'—through devotion (bhaktyā), one knows (abhijānāti) Me (mām) in truth (tattvataḥ), who I am (yaḥ cāsmi) and how great I am (yāvān). 'Tato māṁ tattvato jñātvā viśate tad-anantaram'—then (tataḥ), having known (jñātvā) Me (mām) in truth (tattvataḥ), one enters (viśate) into Me immediately after (tad-anantaram). This is the key teaching: devotion is the direct path to knowing Krishna in truth. Through devotion, you come to know who Krishna really is and how great He is. And once you know Him in truth, you enter into Him—you attain union with the Supreme. This is the path: devotion → knowledge → union. Devotion leads to true knowledge, and true knowledge leads to union with the Supreme.
How this ancient wisdom applies to your daily life

This verse reveals the power of devotion: through devotion (bhaktyā), one knows Me in truth, who I am and how great I am (mām abhijānāti yāvān yaś cāsmi tattvataḥ). Then, having known Me in truth, one enters into Me immediately after (tato māṁ tattvato jñātvā viśate tad-anantaram). When you understand this, you realize: you don't need to approach the Supreme intellectually. Devotion is the direct path. When you practice devotion, you naturally come to know the Supreme in truth, and through that knowledge, you enter into Him. This is the path: devotion → knowledge → union.
