Krishna gives the direct instruction to take refuge. 'Tam eva śaraṇaṁ gaccha sarvabhāvena bhārata'—take refuge (śaraṇam gaccha) in Him alone (tam eva) with all your being (sarva-bhāvena), O descendant of Bharata (bhārata).
