Krishna concludes Chapter 6 by describing the supreme yogi. 'Yoginām api sarveṣāṁ'—among (api) all (sarveṣām) yogis (yoginām). This means: even among all yogis—those who practice meditation, who achieve union, who realize the Self—there's a distinction. 'Mad-gatenāntar-ātmanā śraddhāvān bhajate yo māṁ'—one who (yaḥ), with unwavering faith (śraddhāvān), constantly remembers Me (mad-gatena) with the inner self (antar-ātmanā) and worships (bhajate) Me (mām). This means: the supreme yogi is one who has unwavering faith—not occasional, not conditional, but constant, unshakeable. They constantly remember Krishna with the inner self—not just externally, but deeply, with the soul. And they worship Krishna—not just practice, but actively worship, serve, honor. 'Sa me yuktatamo mataḥ'—he (saḥ) is considered (mataḥ) by Me (me) to be the most intimately united (yuktatamaḥ). This means: among all yogis, this one—with unwavering faith, constant remembrance, active worship—is the most intimately united with Krishna. This is the culmination of Chapter 6: the supreme yogi is the one who practices with unwavering faith, constant remembrance, and active devotion.
How this ancient wisdom applies to your daily life

Krishna concludes Chapter 6 by describing the supreme yogi: among all yogis, the one who, with unwavering faith, constantly remembers Me with the inner self and worships Me, is considered by Me to be the most intimately united. This isn't about being better than others—it's about the depth of practice. The supreme yogi has unwavering faith—not occasional, not conditional, but constant, unshakeable. They constantly remember the divine with the inner self—not just externally, but deeply, with the soul. And they actively worship—not just practice, but worship, serve, honor. This is the culmination: practice with unwavering faith, constant remembrance, and active devotion. Among all approaches, this is the most intimately united—the deepest connection, the most complete union, the ultimate practice.

Do you practice with unwavering faith? Do you constantly remember the divine with your inner self? Do you actively worship, or just practice? What does being most intimately united mean to you?
