Krishna begins Chapter 7 by promising to reveal His complete nature. After establishing meditation practice in Chapter 6, He now offers direct knowledge of the Supreme. 'Mayy āsakta-manāḥ'—with mind attached to Me. 'Yogaṁ yuñjan mad-āśrayaḥ'—practicing yoga, taking shelter in Me. This isn't abstract philosophy—it's personal instruction: fix your mind on Krishna, take refuge in Him, and you'll know Him completely. 'Asaṁśayaṁ samagraṁ'—without doubt, in full. This verse sets up the entire chapter's revelation: Krishna will describe His material and spiritual natures, His manifestations, and how to realize Him.
How this ancient wisdom applies to your daily life

You've been practicing meditation, prayer, or spiritual disciplines. You show up daily, but something feels incomplete—you're doing the practice but not understanding what you're connecting to. This verse addresses that gap. Krishna says: practice with devotion, take shelter in the Supreme, and you'll know completely. The shift isn't from doing to knowing—it's from mechanical practice to practice with understanding. When you practice with your mind fixed on the goal, you don't just experience—you understand.

Are you practicing spiritual disciplines mechanically, or with your mind fixed on understanding? Do you take shelter in the practice itself, or in what the practice connects you to? What would change if you approached your practice with the intention to know completely?
