Exile Complete

Thirteen years done. The journey home begins, but peace must be won.

Story Summary

With the exile officially completed, all Pandavas reveal their true identities to King Virata. The king, honored and grateful, offers his daughter Uttara to Arjuna as a reward for defending the kingdom. Arjuna, showing wisdom and grace, accepts her not as a wife but as a daughter-in-law, arranging her marriage to his son Abhimanyu. This marriage unites the Pandavas and Virata families and is significant for the future—Uttara's son will be Parikshit, the future king. The court celebrates with gratitude and joy, reflecting on the thirteen years of exile and the growth achieved. Prince Uttara's transformation from boastful youth to brave warrior is acknowledged. Messages are sent to Hastinapura claiming the kingdom back, and preparations begin for the return. The Pandavas are ready for the next phase: peace negotiations or war. The exile is complete, but the challenges ahead are just beginning.
